Defeated Brazilian presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro has arrived in Miami with his family after traveling through Argentina and Ecuador. He faces multiple investigations in Brazil and failed to comply with an order to surrender his passport following his election loss to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva.

Defeated presidential candidate Flavio Bolsonaro and his family have arrived in Miami, United States, following his loss in Brazil's election run-off to incumbent leader Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. His journey to the U.S. involved traveling through Argentina and Ecuador after he failed to comply with a Brazilian Supreme Court order to surrender his passports.

Following his arrival, Brazilians are split over his departure, which comes while he faces multiple investigations in Brazil. In his first statement since leaving the country, the far-right senator and ally of U.S. President Donald Trump claimed to be the "true president-elect" and the "leader of Brazil" after refusing to concede the election.

While some reports indicate he fled the country following his defeat, he has stated that he intends to lead the Brazilian opposition from the United States. Observers continue to monitor the political drama and what lies next for the far-right figure following his arrival in Miami.
