Glamorgan opener Asa Tribe is unable to join the England Lions squad in the West Indies. An entry ban was enacted by the government of St Kitts and Nevis following his recent trip to Kenya.
Glamorgan opening batsman Asa Tribe has been prevented from traveling to join the England Lions tour in the Caribbean. The setback comes after he played for Jersey in Kenya last month.
An entry ban implemented by the government of St Kitts and Nevis is the reason for the travel restriction. Some reports note that he was barred under Ebola rules following his time in Kenya, while others specify the St Kitts and Nevis government measures.
It remains to be seen how the situation will develop for the player and the squad as the tour proceeds without him.
