Yakuza Creator Toshiro Nagoshi's Studio Shuts Down Before Release

Nagoshi Studio, led by Yakuza series creator Toshiro Nagoshi, has officially shut down before managing to release a single game. The sudden closure brings an abrupt end to the developer's independent operations following its formation by the prominent industry veteran.

At the time of the closure, the studio had been working on a project titled Gang of Dragon. However, reports differ regarding the exact impact on this title, as some sources note that it remains unclear what will happen to the studio's ongoing work on the game.

With the studio now closed, no further releases or updates are expected from the development team under its current banner. The final status of Gang of Dragon and the future plans for Toshiro Nagoshi and his team have not yet been detailed.
