West Ham United dismiss head coach Nuno Espírito Santo
West Ham United have dismissed head coach Nuno Espírito Santo following a disappointing start to the Championship season. Nuno had taken over the role in September 2025, but the club ultimately decided to make a change during their campaign.
West Ham United have officially parted ways with head coach Nuno Espírito Santo after a difficult run of form. The decision comes as the club currently sits eighth in the Championship standings, driven by an intent to secure an instant return to the Premier League.
Nuno had originally taken over the managerial duties from Graham Potter in September 2025. Although reports indicate the club initially kept faith with the head coach, their disappointing start to the current season ultimately led to his dismissal after 14 months in charge.
Following the departure of Nuno, the club will look for new leadership to turn their season around. West Ham remains focused on their primary objective of climbing the table to achieve promotion back to the top flight.
