TikTok Launches Standalone Shopping Application in Selected Markets
TikTok has quietly released a dedicated standalone app for its e-commerce platform, TikTok Shop, in a few countries. The new application features personalized recommendations, live stream and video shopping, exclusive deals, and integrated customer support.
TikTok has expanded its e-commerce capabilities by quietly releasing a standalone TikTok Shop app in a few selected countries. The launch was initially spotted by social media consultant Matt Navarra through App Store listings.
The new application is designed to offer users a dedicated shopping experience separate from the main social media platform. According to its store listings, the app includes personalized product recommendations, as well as shopping features integrated through live streams and short-form videos.
In addition to browsing and discovery features, the platform provides app-exclusive deals and a complete in-app checkout process. Users will also be able to handle order tracking and access customer support directly through the standalone application.
